The new US headquarters and showroom of Florim, an Italian company, world leader in porcelain stoneware, is a strongly representative building where ceramics takes center stage.
In a geometrically rigid “box”, due to the large shapes used and an almost obsessive grid set on the dimensions of the tiles , the advantage is total flexibility obtained thanks to a mesh of steel columns and free walls to subdivide the interior space.
All the details have been designed in minimalist style where the suspended roof is aimed at enhance the space below
The future use of this building will depend on business needs both from the point of view of function and any other rationale useful to represent the American branch in the future. The task was to celebrate a marriage between glass and ceramics in large sizes that characterize the facade with a style that meets the design standards at Florim design.
